  高中英语演讲稿 1

Every one has his own dream. When I was a little kid ,my dream was even to have a candy shop of my own .But now ,when I am 16 years old ,standing here ,my dreams have already changed a lot.

I have got quite different experience from other girls. While they were playing toys at home, while they were dreaming to be the princesses in the story .I was running in the hard rain, jumping in the heavy snow, pitching in the strong wind.

Nothing could stop me ,because of a wonderful call from my heart -- to be an athlete.Yeah ,of course ,Im an athlete,Im so proud of that all the time .

When I was 10 years old ,I became a shot-put athlete. The training was really hard ,I couldnt bear the heavy shot in my hands .

But I always believe that "god only help those who help themselves".During those hard days,I find I was growing more quickly than others of the same age.

To be an athlete is my most correct choice. But,I quit my team after entering high school because of a silly excuse.I really didnt want to stop my sports career anyway.

Today I say to you my friends that even though I must face the difficulties of yesterday ,today and tomorrow .I still have a dream .It is a dream deeply rooted in my soul.

I have a dream that one day ,I can run, jump and pitch just like I used to be.

I have a dream that one day , I can go back to my dream sports and join the national team.

I have a dream that one day ,I can stand on the highest place at the olympic games. With all the cameras pointing at me.I will tell everyone that Im so proud to be a Chinese athlete!

This is my hope .This is the faith that I continue my steps with!!!

With this faith ,I will live though the strong wind and heavy rain ,never give up !

So let victory ring from my heart, from all of you. When we allow victory to ring .I must be the one!

In my imagination,Im a bird ,a magical bird.I carry my dreams all with me by my big wings. I fly though the mountains ,though the forests ,over the sea,to the sun ,the warmest place in the aerospace!

Every night ,I have a dream ,I see a girl ---smiling

  honorable judges, fellow students:

  good afternoon!

recently, ther is a heated debate in our society. the college students are the beneficiaries of a rare privilege, who receive exceptional education at

extraordinary places. but will we be able to face the challenge and support ourselves against all odds? will we be able to better the lives of others? will we be able to accept the responsibility of building the future of our country?

the cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the slightest discomfort. but the cynics are wrong. the college students i see are eagerly learning about how to live independently. we help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money.

the cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. but again, the cynics are wrong.

we care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth. last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.

as college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. we all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country.

i believe in all my fellow classmates. though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish. i believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities.

we are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place. i believe in our future

Let me begin my speech with a replay of scenes familiar to most, if not all, of those present here today.

Mum, im sorry, but i need 3,000 yuan for my tuition this year.

Mmum, it is my friends birthday tomorrow, i must buy her a present.

Mum, this jacket was out of fashion long ago, would you do me a favor?

Take. the relationship between a mother and a child always seems to follow such a pattern.

I know my mother is always there for me, providing me with everything i need; from food to clothing, from tuition to pocket money.

I never thought twice about all she did until one day she said, will there be a time that youll say you have taken enough from me?

Like a child endlessly asking, we humans, throughout history, have been continually demanding what we desire from nature.

We enjoy the comfort and beauty of our furniture, yet we never bother to think about the serious soil erosion caused by deforestation.

We take it for granted that we must warm ourselves in winter times, yet we seldom realize the burning away of precious natural resources.

We appreciate all the prosperity from the development of modern industry, yet few would give the slightest consideration to the global air and water pollution caused by industrial wastes.

Our ruthless exploitation has permanently impaired our mother earth.

As we tragically learned from last summers floods.

  We cannot continue our carelessness.

Finally, standing here at the threshold of the 21st century, we cannot help thinking of our posterity.

Nature is not only the mother of the present generation, but also the mother of the generations to come.

How severely our descendents will criticize us if we leave them a barren and lifeless mother? how much more they will appreciate us if we give them a world of harmony to inherit? let us start respecting and caring for nature from now on.

Let us start the campaign of creating a mutually beneficial relationship between people and nature right from this moment.

With this new start, i firmly believe, that our children, and our childrens children will live in a brand new age of green trees, clean air, crystal water, blue sky and an even more promising world!

For our students, marks is above everything. Teachers will judge us from our marks. With marks we can be enrolled into junior middle schools. With marks, we can be enrolled into senior middle schools.

With marks we can be enrolled into college. With marks we can be enrolled into postgraduate and doctrine studies. Still with marks we can be graded and be allowed to go abroad for further studies. Our parents will be strict with us with the marks.

Our society judge us from marks. However, sometimes we students compare one another with marks directly. We are completely controlled by marks. We like them and we feel sorry for them. But what attitude towards our marks should we take?

Truly, marks functions cannot be underestimated. In terms of test in our study, marks are fair and real. That is the reason why we say "Everyone is equal before marks. "

However, I think marks are the sole standard to judge the success or failure of students in exams. Sometimes, marks more than ten or less than one or two in our exams comparing with others mean not everything.

The success or failure in exams will be influenced by experience on the spot and the examinees health etc. Once in a while one cannot fail in exams. " Success or failure is common sense for military. " I think everyone is familiar with the famous saying. Dont you think such will be the case with our study? In exams, one cannot be " never-defeated general" .

Even though one will be very good in everyday study, he cannot succeed in every exam sometimes.

We can get proof from the fact that the very best one we call "Number One Scholar" in the entrance exams for college and ordinary middle school and specialized secondary school over the years is not eminent above all others nor top student in every study.

As a matter of fact, "high marks" and "ability" are not unified. Some time ago, a new phrase " high marks but poor competence" came into being. Once I happened to meet such a teacher as this .It is said that the teacher just graduated from a far-famed key university.

But his teaching result is much less than that of the one who just graduated from a not-well-renowned college. When lecturing, the teacher only repeated what the text-books says, which was very dull so the his students interest in learning was not aroused. His teaching was short of unity of teaching and learning.

At present there is a fact that we know a few brilliant and top college graduates are not qualified for their posts. The reason for it may be lack of the ability to combine knowledge learnt from books with pragmatics in their work.

Students of this kind will be successful in every exam but they will be able to use freely their knowledge in their posts. Dont you think it waste training such persons for the country?

To sum up from the above, I can say marks are not absolutely authoritative for some. If we neglect training and developing the students ability and competence and if we only seek for the high marks, we will be absolutely wrong.

We should take an objective attitude towards the marks. Neither should we neglect them nor should we overvalue them like a God.

  good morning/evening/afternoon,

  ladies and gentlemen :

today, my speech is about talents,in my opionion, talents are indispensable in nowadays society. as is known to all that the fight among countries is actually the fight among talents.

first, id like to define the word"talent" in my idea, a talent is one person who is good at or expertised in some or multiple areas. nowadays, as the world developing goes on , if one country want to rank top or do a good job in the world, the country must have many talents.for example, china, the biggest developing country in the world, in the past 100 years, is always invaded by other countries, why ,the reason is that china at that time had not so many talents. if they had anti-intrusion leader talents in the war, needless to say, they would have beat those big powers.if they had talents in weapons manufacturing, nodody dares to provoke us.however, nowadays, its a totally different situation, china has become powerfulin all over the world, why ? because there are many talents serving the country, the civilians become more and more literated.more and more people go to university, more and more people come to receive further education. so what is that in return, talents in army protect our country from invasion, talents in commerce help make our economy keep in improving, talents in aerospace make the world see chinese manned spacecraft flying. talents in sports make china rank the first in the olympic games……

to sum up, talents will play a more and more impoetant role in the world, if one country intends to flourish, he must foster talents as many as they can ,thats all, thank you.

In this competitive society it is essential to know how to sell yourself in order to get the job you want. That means you must beable to market your best features and present yourself in the best light. After all, you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

There are several things you can do to project a good image in an interview. First of all, look like a winner. Dress conservatively and well, and youll look like youre going to the top. Second,

communicate clearly. Consider each question carefully and respond with total honesty. Remember to make eye contact and maintain good posture. You need to look attentive but also at ease. Third, have a positive and assertive attitude. Its important to appear confident of your ability and optimistic about your future. Finally, be

prepared. Present a professional resume and be ready to explain everything in detail.

By following the advice above, you are bound to make a good impression on potential employers. Then you will be able to choose the best opportunity for you and take that first step towards success.

It is a great honor and prestige to be asked to make a speech here tonight. I have chosen a rather serious, unpleasant subject for tonights speech: it is the problem of trade friction between China and the United States.

It seems that criticism is directed mainly toward China for its large trade surplus vis-a-vis the United States. As of the summer of 1997, the annual surplus amounted to some US $ 50 billion. The reason for that is that automobiles and electronic products of China are outselling the American equivalents. Criticism also goes to the closed market of China. Americans demand that China open its market for American agricultural products such as crops, fruit, and food-meat, and that the complex Chinese distribution system be simplified.

However, I think the basic posture the Americans are taking needs to be changed. That is, Americans tend to assume that the Chinese are all to blame, and they also demand quick changes from the Chinese. I think what we really need is a little more patience and effort to understand each other. Mutual understanding is indispensable today when international interdependence is the rule.

I hope my speech will serve as "food for thought" and that you will be able to "digest" it well. Thank you.

China, our great motherland, is developing very fast. More and more techniques are being used into our daily life. Well, lets imagine what our future will be like in 50 years. First, there will be more trees but less pollution. Its very important for us to protect our living environment. However, some people are destorying it only because they want to fullfill their selfifh purpose-to get more and more money. We are being told that its wrong to bulid our happiness on the sufferings of our descendants. So, I think we should do something to change the present situation. And now our goverment is trying to solve this problem, and some relevent policies will come into force very soon.We could expect a bright future for our environment. Second, much more advanced technologies will be used, which will provide us much more convinence. After 50 years, we will have our own robots help us with the housework, and the life will become easier and more comfortable. When you are free, you could fly to the moon for vacation or fly rockets to the moon. Everything is possible. Last but not the least, Id like to say that we could predict the future, and I believe with our continuous efforts, all of our dreams will come true one day. Do you agree with me? Lets take action now!

  高中英语演讲稿 10

Beggars are one of the most familiar groups in every city. They acpany us from our childhood until now, and Ive found both the beggars and I change in this journey.

Years ago as a little girl, when I came across some old and disabled beggars on the road, Id donate some pocket money to them, happily thinking I was helping. s I have grown older, Ive found the number of beggars has grown larger and they are more diverse. They appear in every corner of the city, on the overbridge, on the street, near restaurants, and even at your door. In contrast with the old days, it seems like the situation with beggars today is more plicated, which has made me hesitate before deciding whether to help them or not.

Its hard for me to give them money considering some who appear beggars in day time but dress up and go to fancy restaurants at night; and some who are controlled by some illegal organization and the money they get all goes to the organization. If I help them, Id be making the problem worse, Id be doing harm to the society, indirectly. But its also hard not to give them money, considering therere real beggars who really need help. If I dont help them, who will? And where is my sympathy?

What hurts me the most is not how hard it is to distinguish the real help-seekers from the many false ones, but that some children are forced by adults, sometimes even their parents, to beg. They grow up despised by the world, out of mainstream society. When I see their eyes filled with desperation and impudence instead of purity and innocence, my heart sinks. We dont know how they will face the world when they grow up, how this will shape their characters, and what they may do to the society, to perpetuate this cycle of violence.

Months ago the Fu Jian government has promulgated a new policy to deal with 8 kinds of beggars. An internet survey shows that over 80% of voters reacted positively toward the policy. We know that one single policy cannot solve a problem as plex as this one, but we do look forward to some improvement. I wish all humanity can live like human.

Good afternoon! Ladies and gentlemen! I am very happy to have the opportunity to attend this Competition. My topic today is “Never Say Sorry Again!”

Do you feel sorry for the animals that are killed by the millions every day? Do we really need to kill animals? Let us now think of the reasons for using dead animals. People often use animals for food, make-up, medicine and especially for the clothes. Fur coats are definitely a luxury. Yes, they are warm but really they are mostly a symbol of wealth. Do you know how much a mink coat cost? A report said in an open letter published recently, a Dutch animal-rights group has asked their much-loved Queen to stop wearing fur. The Group pointed out that making clothing from fur represents cruelty to animals. “ Fur belongs to animals, not to human beings.”

Nowadays a lot of greedy people hunt and kill wild animals and birds, so as to make money by selling their hides at high prices. This kind of killing should be stopped and seriously punished. If we dont take actions to protect the wild animals and birds, they will soon disappear from the globe. Man will one day find himself a very lonely creature on earth indeed. Until such a day, when we finally realized that we no longer have these friends or neighbors, what are we human beings going to say? Sorry? No, it is too late to say sorry to them. Ladies and Gentlemen, please consider what I have said to you this afternoon. Think carefully on whether we really need to use animals for our pleasure if you have come to the conclusion that we are wrong. Then we should now change our attitude so that we never say sorry again to the animal population. Thank you!
