My plan for the future is that I would like to stay with children and share the moments in their lives and provide them with helpful advice, making friends with them and letting them feel you are the one they can talk and trust. I like English very much.with this idea, I want to combine my love for children with my ability of English together,so I can work in a pleasant environment doing the great things I enjoy doing.

I consider myself with rich potential of qualifying out as a good English teacher.I have a heart for children,a loving and caring heart. And I would certainly place it upon my students, being their close friend and sister.while with my creative and relaxing English teaching method, students would learn English through interacting with me or the others instead of being told what to say. I am also very open-minded and easy-going,which will make myself a popular figure everywhere. And of course I am very much the type of the girl next door.always willing to take in suggestions and create a fun classroom for our next generation.

I believe Ive said quite enough of myself. I hope you now know more about me than just now. I would certainly cherish this job and get along very well with all people out here.I thank you very much again for giving me this opportunity to talk with you.

I am looking forward to hearing good news from you.

  Thank you !

  ladies and gentlemen:

today i’m glad that i’m standing here talking to you all. as the title given, i am going to talk you about a way of treating people and things in life. my speech here basically includes 2 parts, in the former of which i‘ll describe you the present occasion we teenagers are in., as well as the reason behind. then it’s about the several opinions of mine toward the case above.

undoubtedly, every one of us has stepped into adolescence, a period of time where the most. let’s just imagine that there was an old lady. what she sees was her neighbors’ being mean again while not how kind they were when they took care of her sick body. what she saw was her dog’s annoying barking while not how much loyalty it had shown.what she saw was always so depressing that it finally turned her into an unpleasant person. think about how our life would be if we stand in her shoe. why don’t we focus our attention on how much we’ve already got in stead? you know it’s really simple to do as there’s a tremendous amount of examples. like the popular jetpack joy ride on your iphone, you can enjoy it whenever you like, whereas in some poor area people don’t even know such thing as iphone.

actually we should be thankful about the richness we’ve got, thankful that with each sunrise taking place we don’t need to starve to call it a day, thankful that the people we love are still in health, that we still got much to hold on. as a saying on website,” the world is tough, but i’m tougher.” what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. every day is a gift from life, all we need is to accept it, cherish the lessons life has taught us, so as to achieve our goal with high spirit. in this way, someday when we leave the world, we leave no regrets. thank you for listening.

In this picture, a mother bird stays in her nest in a big three, watching herbabies flying away. I think she must be very proud of her children, who are ableto find their own food now. But she may also feel a sense of loss since they nolonger need her day-to-day care as they used to.

This picture shows very wellthe mixed feelings of parents when watching their children grow up. For myparents, things will be much easier. We will set up our family blog to post ourphotos, journals and audios. Once I leave for college, we can conveniently shareour experiences and support each other no matter where we are. Their nest willnever beempty.

I also realize that only those who bring happiness for others can be truly happy. So I often take part in activities concerning public welfare. I once went to a barren mountain village with my classmates. We taught the kids there who could not afford school. While showing them how broad and how civilized the outer world is, I was deeply touched by their eagerness to learn, their honesty and their purity. I couldnt control my tears on the day when we left. The precious experience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility on the shoulders of us, future teachers. Besides study and social practice, there are entertainments as well. I do body building every day, hoping to keep healthy and energetic. We also write a play and put it on in our spare time. Campus life is the most splendid time. But different people have different choices. The majority of students cherish their beautiful season and cherish the hope that one day theyll become outstanding. But there are indeed some students still under ignorance. They gather together for eating, drinking or playing cards. Theyre busy in searching for a girlfriend or a boyfriend. They forget completely about their mission as college students and the hope of their motherland. Finally, I do hope everybody can try their best to become a worthy citizen of the country. I do hope everybody can become the backbone of our nation and make great contributions to society!

Last month, I happened to watch an interview of a Chinese student studying abroad. At one point the hostess asked: "For how long have you been away from home?" "Three years," he said. "How do you keep in touch with your parents?" "We wrote emails," the young man replied proudly. "Then I guess your parents learned how to send an email just because of you, right?" Having heard this from the hostess, the young man was speechless for a long time. Indeed, in the world today, it is not easy for the elder generation to keep up to date with the rapid development of technology. This story reminded me of my concerns when I first left home for college three years ago: My parents dont understand English. They couldnt identify the buttons marked in English on our remote controls. So when I was away from home, who would help them select Chinese subtitles when they wanted to watch a foreign movie on our DVD? My parents dont use pinyin, the phonetic symbols for Chinese. Therefore, they couldnt input Chinese characters into their cell phones using the keyboard. Without me, whom could they depend on when they needed to reply to a text message? I worried a lot, so before I left, I carefully prepared a flow chart on how to operate the DVD player, and stored as many template messages in my parents phones as I could possibly think of. Fortunately, my efforts did work for my parents. However, what makes me more optimistic is that society at large is becoming more concerned about the elder generation, and the fruit of technological innovation is no longer believed to be an asset only for the young people. Today, with simple Chinese instructions on the remote control, even my 80-year-old grandfather can play his favorite TV program on a DVD. Last year, with the money I earned from a part-time job, I bought my mother a new cell phone which supports handwritten messages instead of inputting words through a keyboard. And now, my mother no longer has to use the templates messages Ive stored for her, instead, she now sends me messages as long as 300 words. The joy I have when reading those text messages is inexpressible, not only because of the words she writes, but also because our technology has indeed become a real blessing in her life. Two years ago, the counter service in our neighborhood bank was replaced by an ATM station. With those intelligent machines, people can carry out all their regular banking services. My father, however, was not used to such a change. Thereafter, he always walked three blocks further to a bank with a counter to use their services. In the future, however, this will no longer happen, because when I went to that ATM station again last spring festival, I found a delightful change: the terminals there have adopted a voice guidance system. While I was there, I noticed a grey haired man using the voice instructions. And despite his hesitation between pressing the buttons, he left the bank with a satisfactory smile. What a marvel! My vision for the future was unfolding before my very eyes. At that moment, I rejoiced thinking of my father, someday, standing there using the banking service. I rejoiced thinking of myself that when I become old, the new inventions can still ease my life rather than making the life harder.

The Dream Came True I wanna welcome everybody here in this cheer team. Thank you for coming here this morning to stand on my side cheering me on. It’s my dream to have the opportunity to challenge all the foreign athletes to the championship at this great occasion: 2008 Olympic Games. Now, the dream came true.

As an athlete of China, I’m here to win the gold medal of orienteering for our motherland. I’m so proud of being one of the best players in the world. But could you believe I had been a lazy girl when I was in Junior High. I’m not kidding! At that time, running was my last favorite. I really don’t know how to describe the first time I was on the track. It was horrible. When I started to run, I was simply out of breath. And while I touched the finishing line, I really didn’t know if I was still alive. It’s so funny, huh? But it’s true, I did. Well, something happened and changed the situation. We won the right of holding the Olympic Games in 2008. After that, sports became a kind of game in campus. And there are many sports clubs in school. One day someone asked me:“are you gonna try one of those?”First I felt so wired. “Try to get into sports clubs? Are you kidding?” I said. And she goes: “Why not? It’s not hard at all, and so fascinating!” So I did tried one and I was so lucky to become one of those who did orienteering. That is a fantastic sport! You need to run and find where to go just by using a map and a compass. It’s wasn’t popular in China at fi irst. But when we heard it might become a new event in 2008, we did practiced hard, and aimed to win the first Champion of orienteering in the world. When we practiced, there were a lot of troubles. You know, sometimes you need to go with your feet, but sometimes you need to go with your heart. In some situations, we faced the difficulties and problems.

And we need to solve that through teamwork and strong willpower. So we can run faster, go higher and be stronger. That is what we say-Olympic spirit. Now the dream came true. I’m standing here with all my body and my heart put in sports. So do the people from all over the world to HERE at the Olympic Games. It’s the Olympic Games that make us together. We are here for a big day of sport; we are here for a dream of sports. We are here for a spirit of sport that encourages us to face the difficulties of today and tomorrow.

I Agree or not agree: the next twenty years from now on, students will not use printed books any more.

I dont think so. printed books wont be abandoned in such a short time. I admit that new technology is developing fast. Many advanced electronic products are gradually take the place of traditional tools. Just like in university, teachers like to use multimedia in class for it is quite convenient and efficient. However, for our student, it is not realistic to study completely by electronic products. There are many things need to recorded on books. Books are something meaningful and practical.

I should say, in our country, printed books wouldnt be abandoned within 20 years at least for two reasons. Firstly, books are classical container of knowledge. They accompany human to advance. A student without books could be someway ridiculous. Secondly, our country havent developed so strong to make every student study by computer or other forms of electronic tools. And even after 20 years, the possibility is also very small. I also think it is unnecessary because books are cheap but useful and still meaningful.

An individual human existence should be like a river—small at first, narrowly contained within its banks, and rushing passionately past boulders and over the river grows wider, the banks recede, the waters flow more quietly, and in the end, without any visible break, they become merged in the sea,and painlessly lose their individual being.

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity,of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of sixty more than a boy of grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul.Worry,fear,self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.

  Thank you!
